Knitting a cosy scarf, a photo by Helen in Wales on Flickr.

47/52 for the group 52 of 2012

This week's theme was: Long exposure

I hope 1/8th of a second counts as "long".

The awful weather this week rather precluded going and looking for a river or waterfall to do the smooth water look, ditto any night photography.

I have therefore resorted to a motion blur of me knitting a cosy winter scarf.

It looks pretty. Is that a pocket?

The brown sweater you are wearing looks cosy, too!

It's not a pocket, it's just the way the scarf is folded.

The brown sweater is cosy, but it's a bought one (a present actually) not one I knitted.

I know some people love those pocket-ended scarves, but I'm kind of glad that's not a hybrid. :-) You're doing beautiful, even work.

Yes, I've seen those scarves. I think the pockets would be nice for extra hand warmth. Hmmm... I might put a pocket-scarf on my list of Possible Things to Make.

:-)
I have seen some that have a button or two down the center front, as well; makes an interesting hybrid.
