Welsh weather is nothing if not surprising

I don't know what happened, but when I put some washing out onto the line at the bottom of the garden, it was deathly still, grey and cold. Looking out of the window now, it's -- gasp! -- sunny and the sheet is blowing nicely on the line. Not sure how that happened nor how long it will last, but with luck the things will be dry by the time it goes dark.
