Dydd Gwyl Dewi / Saint David's Day
Brith by Helen in Wales
Brith, a photo by Helen in Wales on Flickr.

Wna i jyst deud, "Dydd gwyl Dewi hapus i bawb!" / I'll just say, "Happy Saint David's day to everyone!"

I was trying to photograph the daffodils, but Brith thought I ought to take a photo of him instead. :)

We had a good walk this morning and the land is starting to smell of spring. We're not properly there yet, but it shouldn't be too long now.

Thank you. He is a bit of a daffy dog at times. :)

LOL. And if you'd tried to take his photo he'd probably have been awkward.

We haven't got any daffodils out here. They're up, but refusing to come out. First time I remember them being this late in ages - shows how cold it's been.

These are well advanced because that side of the valley does get any sun that's going and is reasonably sheltered from the wind. The ones bordering the playing field down in town are still only just green leaves and buds.

As much as I might appreciate a daffodil, a photo of a handsome dog wins out every time. :)

He is a very handsome dog. :) He's not actually mine. He belongs to some delightful old ladies and I walk him twice a week.

Daffodils equal spring to me! It'll be close to a month before we have them here.

He is indeed very handsome and very good with people, though he's terrified of other dogs.

Sadly he's not mine though. I'm not sure whether you were reading my LJ when I explained about volunteering as a dog walker for the Cinnamon Trust? He belongs to some delightful old ladies and I walk him twice a week.

Oh, I see.
Well, it's nice that you have the opportunity to visit with him twice a week.
I don't have a dog either because I have three cats.
My my neighbors across the street have a sweet big pit bull named Molly and whenever she escapes the yard, she comes to visit me.

As nice as daffodils are, Brith does have a point!

I think he's used to be being photographed by his owners and now he thinks he should always be the star of any photo-shoot. :)

Dogs are always up for photobombing. :-)
