Stop for a moment and look...
Tiny daffodils by Helen in Wales
Tiny daffodils, a photo by Helen in Wales on Flickr.

Last year readthisandweep did a series of posts called "A moment of enchantment". I loved the idea and decided to do something similar in 2013, based on photos. However, I can't guarantee that everything will be enchanting, though I hope it will make you pause and reflect for a moment, hence my variation on the title.

Tiny daffodils

I planted a clump of minature daffodils a few years ago and a few of them have managed to survive my lack of gardening knowledge. They surprise me every spring with their pinpoints of cheery yellow, almost hidden in the grass.

Yes! Exactly what we need to get us thinking about things other than this relentless winter.

I can't promise to post every day but I'll certainly join you. :)

I really enjoyed doing the 365 photo project a couple of years ago and the discipline of picking up the camera every single day is good, but I don't want the stress of trying to do a whole year again, so I've come up with a compromise. My plan is to try to do a photo-a-day during each month that has 30 days, ie April, June, September and November.

I look forward to any moments of enchantment that you manage to spot, but please don't feel under any obligation. If it becomes a chore, then the element of spontaneity is lost.

Mine may be moments written - & yes, maybe something random that strikes me as worth snapping. (If I have my camera with me!) My photography leaves a lot to be desired though & you are so good at it. ;)

What a lovely photo, and what a great idea of readthisandweep's! Definitely a moment of enchantment.
