Stop for a moment and look - Helen's journal and online home
In which an old dog attempts to learn new tricks.
Stop for a moment and look
The only good thing to come out of the horrible cold weather we've had recently is way it's extended the daffodil season. Instead of them all bursting into bloom at once and being over quickly, their appearance has been staggered throughout March and April so there is always a new bunch of blooms to lift your spirits.

Those in sheltered spots that catch the sun came out early; those in more exposed places have been delayed.

These were one of many clumps lining the start of the Mawddach Trail leading out of town.

Current Mood: cheerful cheerful

Pretty. They're not yet out here.

We did have a few just about in time for St David's day (1 March), but only a very few and there are still lots just at the bud stage.

What a great colour. Warm and cheerful, and a lovely sky background as well. :)

Thanks. This was one of those "put the camera on the ground, point it up at the flowers and hope" shots. The ability to quickly check immediately what the shot looks like is a godsend.
