I don't know what this plant is, but its leaves seem particularly efficient at repelling water so the rain forms big drops on the surface. What I hadn't realised until I downloaded the photo and saw it on the screen was that the blade of grass had a string of little drops hanging from it.

Yes, we're back to what has become typical summer weather for Wales. Having said that, I did run into sunshine when I went to the North Wales coast to visit my father, though of course I ran back into the rain as I came south again this evening.
