The set theme was: M is for Movement

I nearly forgot about taking a photo for the theme, so I had to quickly think of something suitable. As I'd done a lot of walking over the past couple of days, I didn't want to go far, but my husband had mentioned that a field on the way to the college was looking particularly pretty with wild flowers, and as it was a windy day, I thought I would see if I could capture them blowing in the wind.

Thanks. Today is another windy day, but it's also wet, so I'm glad my friend came to visit when she did.

Ox-eye daisies have long been a favourite. I like to see them growing along the verges on main roads, mixed in with poppies, defying the petrol fumes.

There never used to be daisies here, so I think they must have planted some wild flower seeds when they did all the work on the new bridge. The whole field got churned up last year by the heavy machinery and they restored it when the work was finished.
