Thankfully the weather was fine, so I got my walk with Brith this morning.
It's not easy to get a good photo of Cadair Idris from where I live. Because it's south of us, the sun is behind it for most of the day. For the best shots, you need to get up very early or wait until the sun is going down. 10.30 am in September, especially when you're shooting with a phone camera, isn't really the best time.
While I was walking, I composed a haiku based on something I passed at the start of the walk.
moss furs the old gate
in the field beyond, nettles
slowly fade and wilt.
