Stop for a moment...

...to admire the web a spider has constructed between the wing mirror and the door of our Daihatsu.

I don't know whether spiders are more active in the autumn or whether it's just that there webs show up in the dew and the soft drizzle that typifies the season. Either way, there were some good examples when I popped out into the garden this morning.

In this case the spider (obviously a different species) has produced a dense web that has captured a constellation of water droplets.
