47/52 for the group T189 alphabet challenge
The set theme was: X is for Xanthocarpous (which means
"having yellow fruit")
I hope these apples are yellow enough to count. They're on the neighbour's tree and this morning they were catching the sun beautifully. For some reason, the neighbours don't seem to pick them. Perhaps they're not very nice? I don't know. Apparently the tree was grown from a pip that one of their daughters planted when she was small. It's now a good size tree, though who knows what type of apples they are?
