In other news...

Spring has definitely sprung. Two trees in the neighbours' gardens are suddenly covered in blossom. Very pretty!

Also, I have a new motivational tool. jimhines did a round up of April Fool jokes and mentioned that his avatar on HabitRPG had turned into an eggplant. I think I had vaguely heard of HabitRPG before, but never got around to investigating. However, I am seriously lacking in get up and go this spring and have got into lethargic habits during the long, really dreary, really wet winter, so I wondered if it would help. I signed up and after spending 1 April as an onion, my avatar is now a little grey-haired warrior.

I've only been doing it for 2 days, but it's definitely working. I've achieved all my dailies today. Of course it's a novelty at the moment and once that novelty wears off, it might stop working as a source of motivation. But right now I'll take even short term motivations to get me going!
