The new glasses finally came

Yesterday, I left work early so I could get to the opticians before they closed at 5 pm. And this time the new lenses are spot on! Everything is sharp again.

Back in the 80s, when G and I ran a small business, we discovered the Three Week Rule, which stated that: "Any item that arrives within less than three weeks from the order date will be faulty and will have to be returned". These days, mostly companies do much better than that, and I'd forgotten about our Three Week Rule, but just occasionally, it strikes again.
