Must do better

I felt really bleaurggh yesterday. Nowhere near ill enough to declare myself too ill to go into work, but definitely not firing on all cylinders. Then I sat watching TV in the evening swathed in my crochet poncho AND the biggest, thickest crochet blanket and I was only just warm enough.

I do feel a lot better today but still not 100%. I've had to put myself in the Habit inn* because I have not done most of my household tasks today. This was partly due to feeling a bit below par, but also because I had a determined effort to catch up on day job related tasks.

At least it's now stopped raining. It rained hard all night and I had to wear wellington boots for my walk to college. The path was flooded just before the footbridge. Fortunately, it only came to just above my ankles and the underpass was dry, so I got to work on time. The shortcut takes just over 5 minutes from home to work. If you have to go all the way round, it would take nearly half an hour.

* Which freezes your account so you don't take damage for undone tasks.
