12/52 for the group 2015 Weekly Alphabet Challenge

This week's topic was: L is for Layers

I hadn't intended to do a technical challenge this week; I was actually thinking of photographing some layered rocks, but I've taken over one of the Habit guilds and I wanted some artwork for the page. As the gild is called "Dragons of the Valley" and is related to Wales and all things Welsh, I browsed Google images for inspiration and pinched the idea of a see-through dragon based on the flag. I put one of my favourite landscape photos, taken from the footpath leading up Cadair Idris and -- voila! The effect I was after!

And then I realised that it was perfect for this week's theme too. :)
