Bunnies! - Helen's journal and online home
In which an old dog attempts to learn new tricks.
I have been having fun watching the wild rabbits that come into our garden. There were two very young ones down at the bottom when I got up this morning. They would sit and eat for a bit, then have a quick frolic around before hiding in the long weeds. Then they'd emerge and do a bit more grazing before dashing round madly again. Very appealing. And then this afternoon I had to put off my weeding session because I didn't want to disturb the big rabbit that was busily eating our grass. It was there for a couple of hours, so it's removed a bunny-tummyful, which is very helpful.

Once it had hopped through into the neighbour's garden I finally emerged and spent 10 minutes cutting down some weeds. That means I can tick off the gardening daily on HabitRPG and once I've re-filed the pile of papers I've been sorting through, I'm calling it a day.

Current Mood: cheerful cheerful

No bunnies around here, unfortunately. But sometimes I spend ten minutes or more watching the deer on the meadow. They are actually gorgeous. (When talking to the cats we usually refer to them as big mice)

I love, love, love wild rabbits. I haven't seen many here this year, because I think the winter was hard on them, so I'll vicariously enjoy yours.
