Christmas Eve - Helen's journal and online home

Christmas Eve
Just a quick post to wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a peaceful and happy day tomorrow. I hope you all have the kind of Christmas that you enjoy best. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, for whatever reason, I hope you have a good day anyway.

We returned yesterday from our usual pre Christmas break in London. I'll post about that when I've processed the photos. After dithering about whether to or not (G is a bit Scrooge-like when it comes to Christmas) I have put up the tiny tree in the sitting room, arranged the cards on the table in the corner and hung up the garland of crochet Christmas trees. So the house is suitably festive. I bought food this morning so we will have a roast dinner tomorrow (beef not turkey).

I love Christmas trees and lights, and I'm glad you decided to put your tree up. :-) Merry, merry!

It is a very tiny tree, less than 2 feet tall, but it's enough now there's just the two of us. :)

We just came back from my parents home. I hope you had a nice Christmas Eve. Here a little story my eldest niece sent to us (she is recently in the US)

And let the festivities begin! Except they are probably winding down now. Merry Christmas!
