It's Bank Holiday and it's sunny!

Today it was sunny! I have spent 1.5 hours in the garden hacking out weeds and self-seeded shrubs. I picked enough blackberries for a crumble and also did two loads of laundry. First load was two cotton rugs and the second load was bedding and clothes. I've read more of the Welsh novel and now I'm feeling tired. I still have to shop for food, unless there's something in the freezer.

In other news, in the Archers Appreciation group on Facebook we are boggling at the fact that whilst misogyny, violence against women, racial hatred and terrorist support groups all seem perfectly OK to Facebook, due to "free speech", people are being banned for posting this photo of novelty elephant-themed knitted underpants. (Possibly NSFW if you work somewhere prudish, but there's absolutely no nudity as everything is covered in knitting.)

The world is going mad!
