This week's theme was: H is for Halfway
There was only one decent day regarding weather this week and though we went for a walk (see photos from yesterday), I didn't see anything that would fit the theme. I've therefore had to go for an indoor shot.
I'm re-reading this book on local and family history. It was the set book for an OU course that I started (but didn't finish), but as I'm planning on doing some family history research now I'm retired, I thought that a re-read would be useful. I am currently about half way through.
The book is Family History & Local History in England by David Hey. As it was published in 1987, much of what he says is difficult to find has now been made easily accessibly via the internet, but it's still helpful as a guide to how to approach the subject.
