This week's them was: Z is for a Zillion
There are a zillion story ideas in Rory's story cubes. Each cube has six images on it and there are 9 cubes in total. But each image may spark different ideas, so from over 10 million possible combinations of images, you can create a zillion stories!

G went to a conference in Liverpool on adult literacy and numeracy and someone who actually knew the Rory who devised these story cubes was talking about how successful they had been in helping people with creativity and writing short stories. I thought they sounded just the think for practising writing in Welsh. Because they are images and not words, they can be used equally well in any language. Also there is no "right" interpretation of the images. It's whatever they bring to mind when you look at them.
